zen writing

i need a blog. so many damn things i don't understand since the beginning of the year. the only thing i recall was telling myself that i will do a lot this year. now, i don't actually recall when i inserted this piece into the itinerary.

1) done a lot. yep. wanted to write this down. some of the masochistic things i started the year with.
the braces
> had 4 of my teeth removed so i can put on some braces. which is not really a walk in the park.
> a day after i had a tooth extracted, went with friends to the carnival. my mouth was bleeding and i was on some ride trying hard not to open my mouth so my bloody spit won't go to the person beside me.
> even remembered going hungry the whole night since i can't munch on a hotdog cuz the stupid braces was making my mouth ache.
the books
> finished the harry potter series, and some other books. think i have a total of more than 8 books read during the start of the year. now, i have not finished the last one i borrowed. for the past 6months, i am still on the same book.
movies
> watched quite a few. some local horror flicks. not bad though.
tv series
> borrowed cd's since don't have time to watch tv. lost is good.
concert
> only went to one this year. think that was inxs. well, aside from the other local concerts (that would include the university fair and last month's goth gig which i really didn't dig)
diving
> started to go diving. though i don't know why. except that it was one of the last few things i wanted to do while i was alive. now, i don't know why i am continuing with it. guess, i just wanted a license.
work
>started having additional work this year. said i will be promoted. doubt this will be happening.
> first time to be a speaker in a conference. think i did pretty bad.
work buddies
> everyone has changed. and with the transformations of some, think i may have missed some things.
family
> moved house twice. out of the house, back to the house, and out of the house again.
house
> fixed the house. the floor, the windows, the living room walls. bought some chairs for the dining room. fixed the 2 old chairs (each costing me 1k each. damn, if i wasn't so sentimental i would've just bought new chairs.)
sibs
> fought with one of my sibs. then he got his girl pregnant and then he married her. now, we have an addition to the family. and yeah, she just gave birth. so, that's 2 additional members to the family.
> bro got held up again. guess, this would be the 4th time someone tried to rob him. compared to last year when a gun was pointed at him, this time it was a knife. he went home with a wound on his elbow.
deaths
> none yet
househelp
> changed househelp of more than 10years. she just walked out of the house. when she returned, there was bad blood in the air.
pets
> macmac gave birth. we gave her puppies away.
> kulit. the oldest cat and my favorite cat in the house was ravaged by the dogs. that's one death.
friends
> got friends who got married.
> have 1 friend who's getting married in december. in our small group of 8, that would make 40% in the group who's done the leap this year.
places
> went to bora. never been there. first time to go there with friends. first time to travel by air, land, sea all in one day.
equipment
> bought myself a digicam, headphones, and a dvd player.
investments
> bought myself an insurance this year. first time.
> loaned money from the bank for a small business. first time to make a loan from a bank. $hit. 3 years to pay. will i still be alive then??

guess, so far this is all that happened in the year.

oh yeah, think i also fell in love this year. first time.
