Baguio Panagbenga 08
initially planned to tag along with zel to pundaquit. kaya lang, i got informed jub's group will head for vigan after attending Panagbenga. so again, in less than a year, balik baguio ulit. :D sa victory terminal pa lang sa cubao, one could capture the festive mood. puro kabataan :Dthe trip to baguio was cheaper. due to may's kindness..hehe..nakitulog

times like these, it's a sure bet that tourist destinations were bound to
be crowded. however, we still went to camp john hay's paintball arena, wright park, burnham, and the mansion.
jub and i went to the parade site before the others were awake. later on, they were able to follow except that they ended up being on the other side of the road. yep, the tourists
were kinda strict about letting people through. :Dand of course, for breakfast, there's always the reliable taho. :D
couple of celebrities were present...stars from telenovelas, the politico pichay with his mascots
which actually looked like him (my companions informed me the mascots were actually supposed to be molded after him...as decoys or something in case anyone's after his life...dunno..), melanie marquez, while in a greek goddess outfit, rode a police bike towards her
float...yep, she did a counter-flow against the float traffic, and the jollibee mascot who was running after his float...that was a good one since jollibee had a cake float celebrating its anniversary except that there was no jollibee mascot on the float when it passed by. overall, despite the continuous drizzle and the heckling of tourists (you'd hear comments from people squeezing towards the front row like 'teka, anak ko yan' and a reply like 'eh, ito misis ko '. ahahhaha..labo..:D), the parade was an interesting experience. :)aside from my shots, pics were from jub, jeo, and kr's cams. thanks guys ;D
