UP Fair - During UP's Centennial Year

Feb 15 - we decided to head to UP fair. Entrance was at Php70. Inside the fair were a lot of commercial booths ( Greenwich, Globe, McDo, Artworks, etc), a few org sponsored shops(UP RPT's makeshift firing range, UP Mountaineer's wall, my companions bought a centennial shirt from one of the philo orgs, roughly Php 400 each), and the usual perya ones (target shooting using pellets and darts was at Php20 and the toss-1peso-coin-till-it-lands-in-one-of-those-squares thing). The ride cost us Php30. There were only two rides anyway. A dinner meal easily costs Php50-60. Refreshments ranged from Php8-15. I had my fortune read, that only cost Php50. At the background, you'd hear the continuous play of bands interrupted by a few sponsored games requiring some audience participation. The fence surrounding the fair used to be made of sawali, tapos naging yero, when we went there plywood na ata. There were not that many commercial booths.
I felt I was just there to observe.
We stayed till 3am.
