donations

was walking along ayala ave a few days back when a young man approached me and struck a conversation. he introduced himself, showed a pamphlet with the WWF logo on it, and continued on to relay the environmental condition in the country. later, he asked if i wanted to be a part of their Donor Program. i replied yes so he went about and asked my name, address, contact numbers, and email address. then, he asked my credit card number and its expiration date. i provided all the information. he gave me my copy of the form and then we exchanged smiles and then i walked away.
i've never given out my credit card number to someone on the street before. hahahhaha!! however, i was curious, i wanted to donate, and i wanted to find out how these things work. scam or no scam. anyway, i thought, i can access my credit card bill online anytime just in case things were indeed shady. few days after, i told jub about the encounter and he said i could have the option to donate the rebates i collected from my credit card. but then, that would mean being limited to the foundations and groups enlisted with the bank.
anyway...we'll see. on my next credit card statement.. :D
